Packaging
We fill orders based on the customers needs. This applies to supply chain as well as the types of bottles, caps, labels and cartons used. The customer tells us what kind of components they want to us, and if they are a customer that we purchase the components for, we get them for them. Sometimes a customer wants a specific bottle from a specific manufacturer, and other times they leave us to find the best on for the best price.
In filling we take the raw material to pack into the containers. These products are primarily liquids from the viscosity of water up to and including pastes and powders of any type. However, ASI can only package non-FDA materials.
The equipment will also cap the container if desired. ASI can set torque to your specifications and/or Heat seal if required.
From there we will box your products. We do single packs, Multiple packs, and Double packs (Inner and Master).
ASI also has the ability to do blister packaging.
Filling Machines
We do have many different types of filling machines we use, depending on the type of product and sometimes the quantity. We have several "suck back" machines that stop filling and suck material back into the hopper once the level is reached. We have a couple of high speed machines that we use mostly for solvents and the thinner greases. We have several fillers designed to fill thicker materials. We also have a peristaltic filler that only requires a hose to squeeze material from the pail or drum into the bottle.

| Waterborne pigments | Customer is moving away from the solvent high end paints and working towards an environmentally safe paint. This material is incredibly expensive and very sensitive to any outside contaminants. We have create a way to package this material with a special peristaltic filler machine that squeezes material from a hose directly into the bottle, so that the only thing that touches the material is the hose. The customer is very pleased with how we've been running their project for them. |
